This Japanese maple was painted a little after my meeting w/Van Gogh. In his own words:
“Greatness and beauty is all around us, in the ordinary. We just have to open our souls to find the extraordinary in it all. Paint from your soul young man. Paint from your soul!”
Very wise words from a very unique individual. So I listened. I always found this tree fascinating. A powerful chameleon that constantly changes its color and shape, and always does so elegantly. It’s just a tree, but look at it. So much majesty. Thank you Vincent.
